What a blast from the past! As I was cleaning out the garage last week, my neighbor was out working in her flower beds. So, as I reminisced over items from my past, she got to enjoy (or endure-I'm not sure which) my stories.

I think the biggest find we both enjoyed was my old Swatch Watches. When I pulled them out of the box I asked excitedly, "Did you ever have a Swatch Watch?" My neighbor's eyes widened when she realized I had mine in hand! She replied with just as much excitement "In multiple colors with a Swatch Guard?!" This immediately caught the kids attention and they ran to see what a Swatch Watch was. They were not impressed. I'm not sure why. Did they not know how cool it was? Did they not know I had to beg and promise my first born child to my parents for one?! Hhhmmm, I guess the dry rotted band falling apart in my hand wouldn't have impressed me either.
